About me
My name is Monique “Arabena” Siaw. I design culture-forward experiences and bring them to life end-to-end. I bridge creative vision with operational excellence — curating programs, managing production, activating strategic partnerships, and leading on-the-ground teams with structure and creativity. I have worked with notable festivals such as AFROPUNK and Dreamville LLC and have produced various events during my time at Soho House & Co, Habitat for Humanity & Westchester, and more.
My event journey began during my time on campus at Wesleyan University. As a Music and African American Studies double major, I studied how art healed historical traumas of the past. I produced and curated events for my funk band, and eventually concerts, panel conversations, Spring Fling and etc for my alma mater. I’ve been hooked on events ever since. The rest is history.
When I’m not event producing, I am expressing myself through music, fashion and film.
